Getting started

Book Bridge checks your reading list against your local Libby / OverDrive libraries so you can see which books are available to borrow or place on hold. Here's the basic flow:

  1. Sign in and create your account.
  2. Add the Libby libraries you belong to.
  3. Connect your Goodreads account or import a reading list.
  4. Book Bridge scans your list and shows real-time availability across all your libraries.

Common issues

  • My library isn't showing up. Search for your library by name when adding it. If it still doesn't appear, the library may not be part of the Libby / OverDrive network.
  • A book isn't showing availability. The title may not be in your library's OverDrive catalog. Try rescanning — availability data is cached for up to 10 minutes.
  • Goodreads sync isn't working. Make sure you've granted Book Bridge access to your Goodreads account. You can disconnect and reconnect from the settings screen.
  • I'm seeing stale results. Pull down to refresh on the results screen to clear the cache and fetch fresh availability data.
  • I can't sign in. Try signing out completely and back in. If the problem persists, email us at the address below.
